    Shoryu Ramen

    One of seven Shoryu locations in and around London, Shoryu Covent Garden specializes in ramen dishes (buckwheat noodles with fish broth flavored with meat, vegetables and/or seafood) from the Hakata region of Japan. The brainchild of executive chef Kanji Furukawa, Shoryu has been recognized by the Michelin Guide for the past three years.

    The dining room here is warm and inviting, with hardwood parquet floors, colorful pottery, and distressed brick walls. Shoryu is a favorite of young professionals who work in central London.

    Menu items include kimchi seafood tonkotsu (Shoryu’s signature pork ramen with a variety of seafood, seaweed, onions and mushrooms), Dracula tonkotsu (Shoryu’s signature pork ramen with garlic oil and garlic chips) and spicy vegetarian ramen. Entree prices start at £12. We also recommend trying their vegetarian halloumi buns—dynamite!

    Shoryu Covent Garden is open Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 9:30 p.m. Click here for reservations. Follow the restaurant on Instagram.
