Party all night on the beautiful beaches of Bali
You have a few weeks off and enough miles for round trip airfare. What kind of trip do you plan and to where? Indonesia is currently at the top of my list for a very long trip since there is so much to do and traveling is simple and living is inexpensive. – Jacqueline Spagnola
In between the world class hotels, the religious temples, and yoga retreats, Bali also has a top notch club located in Seminyak. Potato Head Beach Club is easily accessible from a narrow bend off of Jalan Petitenget road and is steps away from The Legian Bali Hotel. Upon entering, visitors first see the quirkily impressive architecture of the “Colosseum,” a towering façade with mismatched windowpanes that leads into the lawn and a plethora of bars, restaurants and entertainment.
While it’s great to unwind and soak up the sun with a few poolside cocktails in the daytime, the atmosphere completely changes at night. The lawn turns into the perfect outdoor venue and is great for clubbing. Guests can even enjoy shows while swimming in the pool. Vibrant nightlife is the big draw to Potato Head Beach Club, and several well-known acts have played there, including A-Trak, M.I.A., and Fatboy Slim, among others.
The club also has two restaurants: one is Lilin, a restaurant specializing in Indonesian cuisine and decorated with long, wooden tables. Guests can dine on tapas, such as salads and curries, or try the Buntut Sambal Bajak, braised oxtail with an exquisite chili sambal. For a more casual dining experience, guests can check out the lounge area with its mixed menu, featuring fresh seafood and the beach club’s hand cut fries. Follow them on Instagram.
