Narcissa is has long been one of the hippest restaurants in Manhattan. Ever since it opened in 2007 in The Standard East Village hotel, Michelin-starred chef John Fraser and owner André Balazs (the famed hotelier) have been making and serving California cuisine using revolutionary techniques and the finest locally-sourced ingredients. The restaurant only uses organic produce which comes directly from André Balazs’ farm in the Hudson Valley in upstate New York. The restaurant has two modern and airy dining rooms to eat in, and one even features a chef counter and an open kitchen. The other room looks out onto a private garden, which is an especially amazing option in the summertime. Come in for brunch, lunch or dinner, and try the duck confit tortellini, black sea bass, crab Benedict or biscuits and gravy.
