    Murray’s Bagels

Murray’s Bagels has been a staple in Greenwich Village since 1998, with people from all over New York—and the world—stopping for their bagel fix or ordering delivery. The recipient of multiple “Best Bagels” awards, it is named after the owner’s father, who helped his son Adam renovate the storefront on a shoestring budget. No matter, because the painted brick walls and tin ceilings give it a rustic look its customers have come to know and love. Murray’s is located on 6th Avenue and 13th Street and has become the breakfast and brunch spot in town. And no wonder, with its fresh bagels that are double-stuffed with cream cheese and lox, Counter Culture Farmhouse blend coffee, specialty drinks, make-your-own salads, and sandwiches with fresh-sliced meats and cheeses. You can also pick up your favorite deli meats, bagels, deli sandwiches and smoked fish, or have them delivered for free. Start your morning with a corned beef omelet sandwich, a breakfast bagel with bacon, egg and cheese, a fresh pastry or one of Murray’s smoked fish options, like belly lox, eastern Nova Scotia, wild sockeye salmon, sable, kippered or pastrami salmon on their famous bagels. Most sandwiches at Murray’s fall in the $4-$10 range. Pastries start at $2.50, and hot and cold drinks range from $2-$3.50. Follow on Instagram.
