    Lavender By the Bay

Known as New York’s premier lavender farm and one of the largest in the United States, the family-run Lavender By The Bay is a sight to see. Showcasing 20 varieties of lavender across 17 acres of farmland, this farm has visitors flocking in its direction to view the glorious plants in full bloom. Guests may harvest their own bunches or source freshly cut lavender and related products in its shop.

Located in North Fork of Long Island, a stunning 30-mile long peninsula, this northeastern part of Suffolk County is approximately 80 miles from New York City. From June until September, it is open seven days a week and open Friday thru Sunday in the months of May and October. During blooming season, there is an $8 admission charge for anyone older than 12 years of age, with $1 of every entry going to a local charity.
