Come for the food, stay for the special memories
What is your favorite city for food in the world? New York. – Dan Miller
Il Mulino is the place to go in New York for authentic, upscale Italian cuisine. The flagship location in Greenwich Village is just a stone’s throw from Washington Square Park and has been doing dinner right for over 20 years. The interior looks like any local red-sauce restaurant, but the outstanding service from seating through dessert make a meal here special. As soon as you sit down for your meal, a server is beside you offering hunks of Parmesan cheese, bruschetta, and other Italian antipasti. Il Mulino is a special-occasion restaurant popular with couples and groups (Founder Stevie Benanty and her husband make a habit of going for birthdays and anniversaries).
Like any great Italian restaurant, the menu has lots of choices of antipasti, soups, pasta and mains. They also have a myriad of specials on any given night. Stand-out dishes include the rack of lamb and classic chicken Parmesan, though the veal and seafood are also strong. Entrees range from $30 to $75. Book your table online and follow on Instagram.
