Sat on a jagged cliff that juts into the Mediterranean Sea, Hacienda Na Xamena welcomes guests who covet a serene retreat away from the hubbub of San Antonio, Europe’s clubbing capital. Located in Port de Sant Miguel, a bustling beach resort on Ibiza’s northwest coast, the five-star boutique hotel has spacious rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the tranquil, turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. With bubbling jacuzzis, outdoor pools and Turkish baths, Hacienda Na Xamena, which opened in the 1970s, blends glamour and old-school chic on the “White Isle.” Rates range from $525 to $1,000 per room, per night.

The hotel’s Edén Restaurant serves meat and fish dishes, attracting diners who want sea views, local food and a glass of red wine. A second eatery, By the Pool, offers light breakfast and lunch items. Visitors can indulge in a relaxing seaweed facial at La Posidonia, the on-site spa, too. Other amenities include a Balinese-inspired cocktail bar, a tennis court, and a gym.

Guests can head to Port de Sant Miguel beach, less than two miles away, which is famous for its volleyball courts and banana boats. Alternatively, they can make the 15-mile trip to Ibiza Town— the island’s capital, which boasts ancient walls, cobbled streets and hippy markets—by taxi. Hacienda Na Xamena is 19 miles from Ibiza Airport.

Travelers can reserve a room online or view photos of the resort on Instagram before their vacation.
