    Cookie DŌ NYC sells cookie dough by the scoop (!!!!!!!!!), which is available in a cornucopia of flavors, from chocolate chip to creamy brownie batter. Everything is prepared in its Greenwich Village store near New York University. Sweet-toothed students—as well as anybody with good taste—flock to this dessert house for a sugary snack that’s enjoyed with just a spoon. Here, guests decorate their treats with sprinkles and sparkles and other toppers, creating customizable confections that look just as good as they taste.

    Cookie DŌ NYC is the brainchild of Kristen Tolman, who creates cookie dough with heat-treated flour and pasteurized eggs so it’s safe to eat, unlike real cookie dough which has raw eggs in it. Her store only opened in January 2017 but has already generated some serious buzz, having been featured on “Today” and “Live With Kelly.” Favorite blends include sugar cookie dough and vanilla ice cream in a vanilla bean cone ($8.75).

    The store’s decor is just as colorful as its cookie dough, with large candy jars and vases of sunflowers that sit on shelves. The diner is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. til late. You can order your favorite treats from Cookie DŌ NYC’s online store.
