    Please tell us more about your business: A typical day for me consists of editing/pitching/publishing content, monitoring trending topics, researching music/chart history, strategizing ideas, analyzing data and assisting with artist visits, award shows and festivals! I also write stories on the side.

    What’s your Alma Mater? American University, Washington D.C.

    What’s your biggest fear? Losing my parents

    What is your favorite place in the world you’ve traveled to and why? I went to London—solo—a few years back and it was great to get out of my comfort zone.

    You have a few weeks off and enough miles for round trip airfare. What kind of trip do you plan and to where? China and Japan.

    What’s your preferred method of travel? Car—a road trip!

    What is your favorite restaurant to eat at? I only have favorite coffee shops: Bluestone Lane in DUMBO, Champion Coffee in Bowery Market, Stumptown in Greenwich Village and La Colombe in Philadelphia.

    What do you eat for breakfast? An iced latte with almond milk or a flat white with almond milk.

    What do you wear to bed? A tank top, long underwear and socks

    Whose designs do you covet each season? I enjoy shopping online: Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, J.Crew, Club Monaco, Steven Alan, Vince, rag & bone and the list goes on….

    What’s your go-to spa? Philip Kingsley in NYC for an annual scalp treatment and blissful head massage!

    What song is on repeat? I’m always listening to a mix of new and old! Currently: INXS “The Stairs,” Spoon “Do You,” Bonobo “No Reason,” Banks “Mind Games,” T. Rex “Mambo Sun,” Nine Inch Nails “Dear World,” The Verve “Life’s An Ocean,” Goldfrapp “Anymore” and Tei Shi “Bassically.”

    How do you discover new music or artists? Working at Billboard, I learn about new artists and/or songs almost every day!

    What has been your best career move so far? Transitioning from an executive assistant to an HR Generalist to a Social Media Strategist.

    Can you share one tip for anyone looking to get into a similar career as you? Get an internship in the field and network!

    Tell me about the person who most influenced you growing up: My parents. They have supported me since the day I was born. They are the most loving and amazing parents one could hope for.

    What’s your favorite website to pass the time on? Besides Twitter, Facebook and YouTube, it would be Yelp, reddit, Vulture, thisdayinmusic, IMDB and Wikipedia.

    Do you support any non-profits or charities? I am a member of the NYC smoke-free Community and Partnership for a Healthier NYC.

    What are your favorite social media accounts to follow on any platform? Twitter is my main source of news 24/7, but there are too many accounts to name. On Instagram, I’m inspired by beauty, aspirations, mantras, bright and shiny things, and liquids (aka iced lattes, matcha lattes and juices)!
