Blue Hill Farm is a restaurant that brings a whole new meaning to the term “farm to table.” Blue Hill at Stone Barns is a four-season farm located about 30 miles outside of NYC, and everything that’s served at Blue Hill Farm comes straight from here. Blue Hill Farm doesn’t boast a traditional menu: instead, diners get to taste the daily offerings from the Grazing, Pecking, and Rooting menu, ensuring that everything’s fresh and in season. There’s always something new on offer, and the menu changes every day. Executive chef and co-owner Dan Barber hopes to encourage people to think more about their daily food choices by serving locally-sourced, healthy, and delicious items. There’s no need to pepper meat or produce with tons of spices and sauces when the food is fresh enough to be the star player, and Blue Hill Farm’s menu reflects that. Diners can choose between dining at the New York City location or at the farm itself at Pocantico Hills. Blue Hill Farm has recently been rated one of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants and is currently in high demand, so make sure to reserve a table ahead of time. In the meantime, stop by Blue Hill Farm’s Instagram to see what goes into making a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
