Find your inner peace at BaliSpirit Festival
We can’t think of a better excuse to head to Bali or a better excuse to get into yoga!
Every spring, thousands of free spirits descend on Ubud, Indonesia, a central Bali town with palm trees and historic Hindu temples. The destination: BaliSpirit Festival. The purpose: to dance, sing, meditate and practice yoga. The festival, which is from March 29 to April 3, 2016, takes place under the Indonesian sun, where average temperatures can reach 90°F at this time of year. Visitors to the annual celebration can fly into Ngurah Rai International Airport in nearby Denpasar. Once they get to the festival, guests can experience acroyoga, practice power YANG, try surf yoga, grab a bite to eat at a food stall, or dance to Balinese beats. A single-day pass to the festival costs $156, and the VIP Full Pass, which grants access to all stages, seminars and workshops throughout the six-day event, costs $895. Travelers can find out more about BaliSpirit on the festival’s website or on their Instagram.
